Vertical Match Plate Pattern for Aluminium Alloy Casting

The wooden vertical match plate pattern was made considering the economy of the pattern, and the fact that it can produce a greater number of aluminum bar from single casting. But the fixation problem as well as the vibration of the wooden box caused weakening and loosening of the sands inside the box. As a result, dimensional fluctuations of the casting were observed. This video shows some shots of the casting process.
